Southern cooking for the southern at heart

I was very curious to check this book out. I eat all the southern food and honestly find it weird when other I find out other people don't like it. So I wanted to look through this book for a few of my favorite recipes and to see if there was anything new that I wanted to try. This has lots of my favorites!
The books is divided into sections that include Breakfast, Main dishes, Side dishes, and Desserts. There are also sections for libation lessons. These are sections that tell you the types of beers, wines or liquors to try with certain foods and is in an interview format.
Some of my favorite recipes are buttermilk biscuits, prime rib roast, slow cooker Pork BBQ sandwiches, Salmon patties and  Broccoli casserole. The ones that I would really like to try as soon as I get the ingredients are Blackberry crumble, Pimento cheeseburger, Apple cider pork roast, grilled blt potato salad stacks, fresh strawberry cream cheese and infused maple syrup.
This book by Katie Moseman is just the tip of Southern cooking so it is a great step into trying out southern foods and dishes. I really like that it had old time, grandma recipes in it that are decently hard to track down in the recipe box.
This is something that everyone should give a try and if you don't know if you like southern foods then this is even better for you. These are all very savory foods which is what the south is known for.
