I fell off the face of the earth

My bad. I just disappeared. I don't really have an explanation for it. The last time I post was in September. Basically, the end of the year and we all know how the end of the year gets crazy with holidays and family events. So, here's a quick rundown of everything that happened. I went camping a couple more times before it closed for the season. My son and I caught Covid. I'm vaccinated but he isn't. He was super sick and laid in bed sleeping for most of it. He had a fever and was sick to his stomach a lot too. Mine was like when I get really bad allergies. My face hurt and I had a migraine. I also had a fever. Truthfully that was the worst part of it all. I think the fever would've killed me. Other than that, we were weak and fatigued. Mostly, not as bad as I was expecting but it took a toll on our bodies. We got out of quarantine just in time to go trick or treating. Thanksgiving we did our usual thing but discovered my grandma's kitchen floor was falling in and that is about fixed now. We got to go walk through Christmas lights and enjoy Christmas goodies. Celebrated Christmas with family. It was pretty good ending to the year.

I made some resolutions for 2022. I think that they are going to be a little bit of a challenge.

  • Learn to train whistle
  • Join a club
  • Monthly date with bub
  • Create a dinner habit
  • Learn a new word a week
  • Start canning and keep recipes that I like
  • Study ASL
  • Be more active on social media
  • Be more active with sports (like go out and play soccer, football, tennis ect once a week)
  • Create more family time
  • Learn card trick shuffles
  • Do the splits again
  • Learn to use chopsticks
  • Try dragon fruit
  • Get better with physical touch
  • learn different rope ties
  • Learn Cha Cha and dance more
  • Become a vegetarian for 2 weeks
  • Play more cards
  • Paint more portrait
  • Learn to play chess
  • Build a card house
  • Get my body in shape
  • Write 365 letters to someone
  • Learn braille
I'm not sure where to learn braille but I have a library close and hopefully that will help.
Seems like a lot but they're small things mostly.
So far this year, we done musical rehearsals, had another covid scare but were ok right now, played D&D, created a new D&D character, started planning the garden and camping trips, done a few trips to escape rooms, ate at a new restaurant, and bub created a club at school.

I'm going to try and post at least once a week. Hopefully more but we will see.
