Coming down the Aisle
Her skin soft and white as porcelain. Her blonde hair wisped perfectly around her face. The pink of her cheeks so light that it looks like it was painted on. A crown of baby's breath around her head and her fingers wrapped around sunflowers. Her full lips in a perfect pout just as I remember. Peace lay upon her face just as the white dress drapes her body. The sun shines down on her and wraps her in a halo that draws everyone's attention, turning all heads in her direction.
We had waited for this day together and now that it's finally here I can't stop my tears running from my eyes. She's as beautiful as I always thought she would be. Maybe more than I could had ever imagined.
When I imagined her coming down the aisle, I never imagined it would be in a casket.
