Love Letter 44

 To the boy that taught me about life,

I knew about you before I ever met you. I saw your mom in school one day standing outside the gym. I can still visualize it clear as day.

Then we became family.

I fell in love with you from the second that you entered our lives. You were so small. You refused to talk, and you were so full of energy. 

You became my best buddy so fast. We did everything together. Went on trips and watched cartoons. I took you under my wing and protected you in the ways I knew how. 

We both grew up and started to see things differently. We have fought over everything. Literally everything. 

You haven't had an easy life at all. I'm sorry for that but sometimes we have to deal with the cards that we are dealt and figure out how to win the game.

I will be here for you always. I will try to help you in every way that I can as you navigate life.
